I don’t think I’m alone in my feelings about Halloween. I love it and I’m not ashamed to admit it. Honestly, I’m like a 10 year old when October rolls around every year. I get excited about all the leftover candy and all the kids that come by our house dressed in adorable little costumes. Now I’m not afraid to admit that with all the excitement, I too enjoy getting dressed up. It just never gets old for me.

I’ve worn lots of costumes in my day and have gone out of my way to embarrass myself a few too many times to count. I can even tell you from experience that I don’t make an attractive woman….just take my word for it. One of my favorites is a 70’s costume that I got years ago. I’d post pictures for you, but I’d never be able to run for political office in the future. Just kidding, the pictures are great and only mildly embarrassing. In recent years, along with my fondness for garden gnomes, I’ve wanted to so badly to dress up like a garden gnome for Halloween. I really have no shame and would love do so. My inability to sew, has unfortunately limited my costume options as I’m only left with what available in stores and on the internet.

As it turns out, there aren’t a lot of places to get a garden gnome costume. It seems that our enjoyment of these crazy little creatures hasn’t yet reached the costume makers of the world. From my searching however, I was able to find a few great options for kids and adults. I also came across a few do-it-yourself costumes for those of you capable of such handiwork.

If you share my fondness for garden gnomes and plan for your next Halloween or costume party to be wearing a Garden Gnome Costume, you should check out the following links:

  • The Best Garden Gnome Costumes Available (Adults and Kids)...in our opinion
This site has just the most adorable gnome costumes for infants and toddlers. Becoming a new dad myself, I can't wait to dress our boy up in one of these. Also, those of you who love the travelocity gnome as much as I...it's time to cheer. They've got Travelocity Gnome costumes for kids and adults. These are perfect for a nice and easy gnome costume.
  • Full Body Garden Gnome Costume
This gnome costume will give you more of the traditional antique style gnome look. It's kind of a funny costume and I'd wear it, however I'd personally like to find one that looks more like traditional gnome. If you want to make is look more like a male garden gnome costume, I’d suggest also getting a fake beard and mustache. Without the beard and mustache, you run the risk of looking more like a court jester.
  • Garden Gnome Mask
This is kind of creepy looking gnome mask if you as me. It's more for a garden gnome that looks like he belongs in Lord Of The Rings. If you’re looking for a friendly garden gnome look, I wouldn’t suggest this one.
  • Do-It-Yourself Garden Gnome Costume
Do-It-Yourself Garden Gnome Riding a Snail Costume

If you are more the make it yourself kind of person, I found these awesome home made garden gnome costumes which you could copy yourself.
