Why Everyone Should Own A Gnome

So, you don't know why you should own a gnome? Allow us to give you some reasons why you should...

1. Add a little excitement and life to your yard or garden
If you are like a majority of america, your yard looks a lot like your neighbors. The chances are that you don't have very much in the form of garden decor. The addition of one piece of decoration, such as a garden gnome, can really bring some life into your garden. You could even give your gnome some friends and have a small village of gnomes.

2. No more need for a conversation starter
No matter how much you and I love our gnomes, they are still pretty rare. The next time you are having a neighborhood get together or you have some family over, these little decorative items will have people commenting. Regardless of whether like them or they're not fans at all, they will be a great conversation starter if your party gets a little dull.

3. Keep the neighbors dog/cat out your yard
I'll tell you what, I've had enough of my neighbor's dog pooping in my yard. A garden gnome or lawn gnome is a perfect opportunity to solve this problem. The down-side is that you may however have random dogs barking througout the day as fido tries to figure out what's gaurding your potted plants.

4. Support For Your Favorite Team
One of the best ways to show your team spirit would be to get an NCAA Garden Gnome, NFL Garden Gnome, or MLB Garden Gnome. You can even rub his head as you root on your favorite team. This was how I got into garden gnomes and is a great gateway gnome for the reluctant gnome owner. These gnomes really go great in the office or media room.

5. Make your house look different
I don't know about you, but I live in one of those planned communities where all the houses looks alike. Have you ever drived by your own house because it looks just like all your neighbors...guilty. If you were to put a garden gnome in the yard or garden you are sure to make your house stand out from the rest.

6. Add some charm to your home
You may not have realized it because of the name, but garden gnomes and lawn gnomes work just as well as 'home gnomes'. The gnome housing options are limitless. It can sit in your media room or even on your bookshelf. They're great just about anywhere and now your new gnome won't be forced to hang out all alone outside.

7. Add Some Humor To Your Life
Along with the traditional gnomes you've probably aware of, there are some pretty funny ones and some downright vulgar ones. Yes, that's right, vulgar. Would you consider a naked male gnome with his junk exposed kind of vulgar? Ok, vulgar, but still kind of funny.

So, there you have it....are you convinced yet? I hope you are and we welcome you to look around and find a garden gnome, lawn gnome, or home gnome for yourself that'll match your style.
